Alexander Dinter has been the chef since 2018. His menu concept runs under the name Radikosmos and is served as four to seven courses.
Insolvency and rescue in 2026
The restaurant has had an eventful year. In early 2026 the 5 went into insolvency. In April 2026 the Stuttgarter Zeitung reported that an investor had stepped in and secured the future of the starred restaurant, with the business continuing under its existing leadership.
